Petroliam Nasional Berhad or known as Petronas is an oil & gas company in Malaysia which was founded in 1974 with all its shares held by the Malaysian government. On October 27 2023, the Director of International Affairs of Al Azhar IIBS, Al Ustadz Ahmad Zulfiqar A.A.A., S.Fil.I., MIRKH received an invitation to stay in touch company visit to Petronas Malaysia. Exactly at Towert 1, Petronas Tower, Kuala Lumpur City Center, Malaysia.

His arrival was warmly welcomed by the stakeholder and company employees. Together with this, the profile and history of the founding of Petronas Malaysia was also introduced. On the contrary, Ust. Zulfiqar introduced Al Azhar IIBS Karanganyar to one of the invited Petronas officials, Mr. Faiz Sahri as Senior Reliability Engineering & Asset Management Technical Consultant.

From the introduction to Al Azhar IIBS that has been explained, Petronas is ready to provide support regarding the introduction of oil & gas science for the Super QC Curriculum, especially in the field of Scientist & Professional which is a flagship program at Al Azhar IIBS, Petronas hopes that there are profiles of Al Azhar IIBS graduates willing to be entrusted with go-international preaching as imams or teachers to teach Al Quran in mosques or suraus built by Petronas, as well as willing to send staff of Petronas to Al Azhar IIBS to participate in collaboration event.
